You could spend hours reading reviews to pick a resort. We already have. We read hundreds of thousands of them and turned what guests said into simple answers to the questions that matter for your trip.
For each month, we only use reviews from guests who stayed that month. At Ocean Coral Turquesa, the beach gets much better reviews in November than in July.
Couples and families want different things, so we rank every resort separately for couples, families, friends and solo travelers. For example, here is how guests rated the food at Ocean Coral Turquesa, depending on who they went with:
We only rank a resort for a group once enough of that group have reviewed it, so the totals differ a little.
No resort is perfect. When guests praise one thing and complain about another, we show both side by side, so you know the downsides before you book, not after.
Our software reads every review. Next to each score we show three things: how many guests talked about it, whether it is getting better or worse, and whether guests agree with each other. We only say a score is going up or down when enough recent reviews say so.
Set your budget, pick an area, or choose adults only, and the list shrinks to the resorts that fit you. Nearly every resort here is on the beach (194 of 202), so you don’t need to ask for that.
Prices are the resorts’ own published rates and may have changed. We don’t sell trips, and resorts don’t pay us. The area buttons only show areas with five or more resorts. “All areas” shows every resort.
