Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana
Cap Cana, Caribbean·Hyatt

A strong pick for couples, strongest for the pools.
Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana feels like a polished, adults-only beach resort that gets a lot right without trying too hard. The setting on Juanillo Beach is a big part of the appeal: soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a laid-back atmosphere that leans more relaxed than party-heavy. Guests consistently rave about the staff, who seem to remember names, drinks, and little preferences in a way that makes the place feel personal rather than scripted. Food is also a pleasant surprise for an all-inclusive, with a strong buffet, solid restaurant variety, and a standout gym that gets mentioned almost as often as the beach. The tradeoff is that this is not a pure bubble of adults-only seclusion in every corner. Because Zilara shares some restaurants and entertainment spaces with neighboring family-friendly Ziva, you may still run into kids at dinner or shows. Nightlife is fairly low-key, and some guests found entertainment hit or miss. A few also felt Club level and add-ons were not always worth the extra cost. Still, for couples who want a stylish, service-driven stay with an excellent beach and a calmer vibe, this is one of the stronger options in Punta Cana.
