Majestic Mirage Punta Cana
Bavaro, Caribbean·Majestic

One of the best picks for couples, strongest for the beach.
Majestic Mirage Punta Cana feels like a big, polished beachfront resort that mostly wins people over with space and atmosphere rather than flawless luxury. The beach is the star: long, pretty, and lined with loungers and Bali beds, while the resort itself has a calmer, more laid-back feel than some of Punta Cana’s louder neighbors. Rooms are unusually large, often with separate living space and oversized balconies, and many guests really liked the adults-only club areas and the attentive, friendly staff. The pool setup is more of a series of long, winding pools than one dramatic main pool, which some travelers love for the quieter vibe and others find underwhelming. The catch is consistency. Some guests had excellent butler service, smooth check-in, and solid food, while others ran into long arrivals, hit-or-miss housekeeping, underwhelming dining, and room maintenance issues like damp smells or worn furnishings. Security and cleanliness complaints show up often enough to take seriously, even though plenty of visitors return happily. Best for couples, repeat Punta Cana travelers, and beach-first guests who want a relaxed all-inclusive and can live with a few rough edges.
